365 Days of Coffee + Moving Help

Cloudy days make for cloudy photos.

Having finished painting Alexander the New Desk last night, I faced the rather daunting challenge of moving him from his painting station on the outside covered patio to his new home in our bedroom.  The Alex (frame) portion is cumbersome to say the least - 70 inches long, 20 inches deep, and 29 inches high. With CKP up in Nova Scotia (for what seems like EVER), I picked these up at the Home Depot, and set to sliding.
They're called MoveAlls, and they could not have impressed me more.  I picked each corner up and set it on the disk, and just slid the hulk around - so key when angling him through several doorways and into prime position by myself.  The black material is soft, so I didn't bung up my (admittedly already bunged up) paint job even further when sliding it along the concrete outside, and didn't scratch the terrazzo once I got him inside.
I took a picture, took them out from underneath Alex and immediately reused them to bring the old desk (which, while smaller, is about twice as heavy and loaded down with contents) outside.
Like a charm.  Like butter.
I've ruined blankets and towels attempting the same sort of result in previous years, and watched professional moving guys struggle doing the same. I'm keeping these handy little suckers to help them out in the future.
