365 Days of Coffee + coming home to roost

PLEASE NOTE:  Picasa/Picnik have decided to unedit the photos in this post - I don't know how many across the blog are affected yet.  This is truly frustrating, as this was written Friday the 10th, and only came back unedited this morning, the 13th.  If anyone knows why this happens [more importantly, how to fix it/keep it from happening again] please share.  This has happened to so many of my posts, it's impossible to keep up.

Guess who's back from Canada?

And he came bearing souvenirs:)

CKP is finally (finally!) home from Nova Scotia, and brought back a Puffin Friend.  Puffin Friend got a name this morning (yes, I name approximately everything) so he's Columbo from here on out [curious?  You are. It started with Coloumba, which is Latin for 'dove.' I realize that a dove and a puffin are vastly different birds, but this guy looks clumsy, happy-go-lucky, and somewhat confused, which is how I think of a Columbo - obviously due to the old TV series.  Don't deny that it fits!]

Columbo actually came to me staged (I'm rubbing off on CKP) with driftwood and stones from Cape Breton, which will no doubt find their way into upcoming styling.  I will happily admit that his little leaf footie is my favorite part, but the fact that he tried to drink my espresso during his positioning sealed the deal on my love for him.

Posts may be a bit sporadic for the next few days, as CKP & I try to get back into a 'together' routine, but 365 will continue unabated, if nothing else.
