SO! I started working on an online portfolio. YAY!
However, while combing through thousands of candidates in my archives, my PC-to-Mac, highjacked-Lightroom transfer made its deep distress apparent.
BOO.
Hundreds upon hundreds of images are still unavailable to me until I meticulously find and link them to corresponding Catalog folders - a task CKP and I have been at literally all day.
It is not fun. It is slow and painful.
Additionally, I've managed to fill up all my memory cards [I don't dare erase anything new on the cards until this business is sorted out and I can put everything on an external PLUS a backup], thus resorting to an OLD ASS camera for today's shoot.
It is sad, friends.
In truth, I can't blame the camera for my styling incapabilities today, the fact that I was too lazy to cut up a new star fruit or change plates or even change the angle to avoid to wonk exposure. People do amazing things with uninspiring equipment, and I wasn't up to snuff.
[Hey, I had been staring at two computer screens telling me the same bad news for ten hours. I give me a break. I think all I ate was that same star fruit all day . . . ]
Just so we can end on a YAY!, here are some photos I had forgotten about, discovered in the shuffle:
Yes, yes it will.
